Dr. Zaini melepaskan angsa ke dalam kawasan berpagar berhampiran Tasik Ilmu
JOHOR BAHRU, 13 Februari : Naib Canselor Profesor Dato’ Ir. Dr. Zaini Ujang melepaskan 106 ekor haiwan peliharaan berhampiran Tasik Ilmu telah disumbangkan bagi menjayakan konsep kampus eko-pelancongan.
Haiwan yang dilepaskan itu terdiri daripada 34 ekor arnab, 12 ekor itik, 4 ekor angsa dan 2 ekor ayam mutiara yang disumbangkan oleh Timbalan Naib Canselor Penyelidikan dan Inovasi Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd. Azraai Kassim dan Timbalan Pendaftar Kanan Bahagian Pengurusan Modal Insan Pejabat Pendaftar Tuan Hj. Hassan Hussin.
Tujuan utama sumbangan itu bagi mengindahkan lagi pemandangan di sekitar tasik yang bersesuaian dengan hasrat universiti untuk memajukan lagi aktiviti eko-pelancongan di sekitar kampus.
Pihak UTM mengharapkan lebih banyak lagi sumbangan dibuat pada masa hadapan bagi memperindahkan lagi lanskap universiti.
